總統蔡英文主持啟動臺南市美術館開館，儀式簡單而隆重

民意日報記者彭惠美報導/臺南市美術館於今（27）日舉辦開館揭幕儀式，邀請總統蔡英文、前行政院院長同時為美術館啟動者賴清德、文化部部長鄭麗君及市長黃偉哲等貴賓蒞臨共同啟動展開正式營運。

南美館是台灣第一座地方行政法人美術館，也是21世紀台灣首座開館的美術館。開館揭幕儀式於今(27)日下午3點進行，開場表演由台南在地知名樂團臺邦獨奏家樂團及國慶大典國歌領唱原住民合唱團希望兒童合唱團帶來精彩表演，襯著南美館2館雄偉典雅的建築與南臺灣和煦的冬陽，貴賓們充分領略到臺南市美術館所擘劃出的藝術氛圍。啟動儀式特別邀請總統蔡英文、前行政院長賴清德、文化部部長鄭麗君、國發會主委陳美伶、臺南市市長黃偉哲、臺南市議會議長郭信良、臺南市美術館董事長陳輝東、文化局局長葉澤山、建築師坂茂、聯鋼董事長陳瑞騰、臺南市美術館館長潘（示番）一同進行，。

揭幕儀式後，蔡總統率領所有與會來賓入館參觀，由館長潘（示番）及董事長陳輝東為所有貴賓導覽介紹美術館2館硬體建設及開館展，與會貴賓皆表示，南美館除了有雄偉雅緻的建築更有精彩的展覽，相信未來必定能成為民眾打卡觀光的熱點。

開館展1館「府城榮光」、2館「臺灣禮讚」展覽開展。1館「府城榮光」，由潘安儀、張清淵、李思賢、白適銘等策展人策展。「府城榮光」呈現臺灣或臺南古往今來、多義並陳的時空敘事。本展覽以城市作為方法，透過「府城藝術史話」、「重新詮釋中」、「起南風」、「都市．新地景．空間權力」四子題的相關視覺、物質文化材料，檢視其城市主體的建構過程與形式內涵。「臺灣禮讚」則為館方特別邀請156位1920年後出生、工作、設籍於臺南為中心的藝術家，提供其一幅代表性之創作作品參展，為臺南市美術館慶生。期望透過本次邀請展，能讓更多人注意到上個世紀藝術家們曾經對臺灣美術發展的付出，共同以美來禮讚臺灣，詮釋臺灣。

今(27)日南美館1館正常開館，下午3點開放「府城榮光」展間；2館則於晚間6點正式開放民眾入館參觀，歡迎所有喜愛藝術的朋友們共同來參與。

The Opening Ceremony of

TAINAN ART MUSEUM

Tainan Art Museum(“TAM”) held the opening ceremony today on the 27th, inviting President Tsai Ing-wen, Minister of Culture Cheng, Li-Chiun, Mayor Huang Wei-cher and former Premier of the Executive Yuan Lai, Ching-Te and other guests to jointly start the official operation of the museum.

TAM is the first local administrative institution art museum, and also the first art museum in Taiwan in the 21st century. The opening ceremony was held at 3pm on the 27th. The excellent opening performance was brought by Tainan’s famous local bands, Taping Soloists Orchestra, and the aboriginal choir, Puzangalan Children’s Choir, which led the singing of the national anthem on the National Day. On the sunny day, at the majestic and elegant architecture of TAM’s Building 2, we have received positive feedbacks from our guests for the artistic atmosphere in this place. We specially invited the President Tsai Ing-wen, former Premier of the Executive Yuan Lai, Ching-Te, Minister of Culture Cheng, Li-Chiun, Chairman of the National Development Council Chen Meiling  Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-cher, Speaker of Tainan City Council Kuo Hsin-Liang, President of TAM Chen,  Huei - Tung, Director of Department of Cultural Affairs Ye Ze-Shan, architect  Architect  Shigeru Ban, President of United Steel Engineering & Construction Corp Chen Rui-Teng, Director of TAM Pan Fan to the simple yet memorable opening ceremony.

After the opening ceremony, President led all the guests to museum tour. The director of TAM Pan (Fan) and President of TAM Chen Hui-Tung introduced the hardware construction and opening exhibitions of the TAM Building 2. The guests were impressive about both the exquisite and elegant building and excellent exhibitions, and they also think that in the future TAM will surely be one of the highest visited sightseeing spots.

The opening exhibition in Building 1 is “The Glory of Tainan (“Fu Cheng Rong Guang”)” and Building 2 is “best of Taiwan Panegyric” is curated by Pan Anyi, Zhang Qingyuan, Li Sixian and Bai Shiming, etc. It showcased the memorable moments in the history of Taiwan or Tainan. Using cities as the background, this exhibition choose four sub topics, “Urban New Lanscape. Spatial Power”, “Art Stories from Tainan”,“A Southen Wind”, “Aprocess of new Interpretations”, applying relevant visual and cultural materials to displays the construction process and contents of the cities. The “best of Taiwan (“Taiwan Li Zan”)” exhibition is a collection of works from 156 artists born, worked, or whose household are registered in Tainan after 1920; we invited each of them to provide one best work to showcase and celebrate the birth of TAM. Through this invitation exhibition, we hope to bring more public attention for contributions from artists from the last century, and praise and interpret Taiwan with more art works.

On the 27th, TAM is officially open. At 3pm, “the history of Tainan City (“Fu Cheng Rong Guang”)” is open. And, at 6pm sharp, 2nd Division is open for public visitors. We welcome all art lovers to visit.
